Linda Hansen and
Lois Olund fell into each other's company
several years ago based on a love for natural fibers and a genuine
desire to share that love with others. Bellwether Wool Company was born
out of this friendship. We enjoy attending fiber events and sharing
what we've learned, and what we continue to learn, especially with
those who have never had the opportunity to spin.
We
find particular satisfaction in offering products that we have
personally nurtured from the selection of quality breeding stock and
farm management, through all the stages of shearing, washing, dyeing,
blending and on through to the spinning, weaving, knitting and finally
wearing of natural fiber from our own farms. Sharing this with others
along the way is a primary goal and source of pleasure.
We
